Silhouette of a Young Man in Thought

This photo was taken in the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the “young man” in question is my friend and classmate Mo (short for Mohammad).  What I love most about the photo though is that the frame of the silhouette is such that it could easily be a photo of any number of people. Mo is hardly the first person to stand in front of this window. Perhaps even later that day someone else may have been in my same position, watching his friend, a Casablanca local, take a second to think about a conversation he had that morning or about the football game later that evening before beginning afternoon prayers.
